NotesToSelfArt

ART DIRECTION | COPYWRITING
NotesToSelfArt is an installation art project celebrating self-affirmation and positive thinking: a reaction to the many months I’ve personally struggled with depression and suicidal ideations.
As I learnt more about mental health, I began to learn how prevalent it is in our society. Understanding just how many people are hurting inside made me realize how relevant and necessary this art is.
Each artwork I install is designed to remind people how important their lives are, that tomorrow matters. Every “Note” or artwork I’ve personally written to remind ME that life is valuable, and happiness is achievable - the artwork is then installed somewhere in the city and the note is passed on to whoever reads it. If you look around, you’ll see them peppered around Los Angeles. Maybe an artwork will make a person’s day, maybe it will save a life.
In an effort to build awareness around mental health and broaden the scope of this creative project I’ve been reaching out to individuals and companies who would be interested in partnering for this great cause. All artworks are gifted, any donations for the furthering of this project are appreciated.
The dream is to see artworks in office foyers, in family homes, always there to remind us that living is truly the greatest gift.
